Do you want play a September Song, Django Reinhardt style?  Is the Jazz Manouche guitarist in you ready to burst forth in jams with fellow fanatics of the art?  Have you always wanted to play with real Gypsies at the top of their musical fields but were afraid to ask?

Well, wait no more.  Mark your calendars: Django Sur Lennon master classes are coming, brought to you by of some of our planet's best creative artists in Jazz Manouche, Swing Gitan, Gypsy Jazz, and all points in between!  This workshop / jam / concert series will take place September 26-28, 2019, in conjunction with the Django Sur Lennon festival in Ramelton, County Donegal, Ireland

Paulus Schäfer brings to Django Sur Lennon for the first time on Saturday 28th September the Dutch school of Gypsy Jazz and the method "Learn it from the gypsies".  His master class may be the only chance this year outside the Sinti Music camp in Gerwen, NL, to experience the most complete learning experience ever offered to jazz guitarists.

Mathieu Châtelain, known as the "King of the Pompistes", brings his much-loved rhythm guitar master class on Saturday 28th Semptember.  Mathieu is dedicated to the art and soul of the driving beat of Jazz Manouche.  From one jazz fan to another, Mathieu imparts technical advice, history of jazz, demonstrations and more.

Greg Ruby — guitarist, author, composer, bandleader — brings his inimitable master class for those newer to Swing and Manouche Jazz on Friday 27th Semptember.  From private guitar lessons to workshops and the school classroom, Greg is adept at multiple teaching styles.  He leads bands playing swing, valse, Prohibition and Django Reinhardt's Hot Club Jazz.  He is dedicated to the swinging, dancing sound of vintage jazz guitar.

The style of instruction in the Sinti Music program has been the most complete learning experience with which I've ever had the pleasure to be involved.  Come to Ireland in September to learn from incredible musicians and enjoy Django Sur Lennon, the best wee Jazz Manouche festival on the planet!
